I have learned to avoid items that look extremely different in every product photo. Even big and famous brands sometimes send generic replies that are not very helpful. For daily use items I try to balance price, build quality and real user feedback. I think it is better to build a small collection of reliable products than to buy random cheap things. If the first order goes well, I slowly try more products from the same place. If tracking never updates for weeks, I start to worry about the order.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

Sometimes I experiment with different materials just to see how they feel in daily life. Online shops that show detailed measurements and care instructions usually get my attention. That is why I sometimes leave comments myself when I test a new shop or product. Nobody wants pretty shoes that hurt after ten minutes of walking. Online shopping will always have a bit of risk, but experience makes it easier.
